It's the same on here at times though isn't it. A bad performance especially. Everyone has an opinion on someone they don't rate and that's it, they're gonna give it to them regardless. Funny reallyOriginally posted by Mike View PostIgnore them, they must of been watching another game.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Too right mate, I've recently became a fan of Lucas - really improved last season and personally thought he had better season than Mascherano.Originally posted by SB View PostIt's the same on here at times though isn't it. Ngog should be third choice striker given games in the League Cup, FA Cup against lower division clubs, 2nd leg games of the Europa Cup games if we've got a good enough lead from the 1st and brought on if we are winning Premiership games comfortably.

Great to see Lucas and Ngog put in really good mature performances.
They could be the shining light to come out of what was a train wreck last season.
Too many Liverpool fans turned on YOUNG players like these two last season using them as scape goats without giving them a chance to develop.
Della Valle looks like a special player.

13 goals in 24 starts isn’t bad at all.
If you exclude the goals scored as sub, it’s still a decent record of 10 goals from 24 starts. Considering he’s played as a lone striker without much support for most of the matches, that’s a very good return. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

IIRC he didn't have a very good goal return in France did he? I remember thinking that was a funny buy from Rafa when he wasn't prolific over there in an inferior competition. Hope he kicks on this year and bags at least double figuresOriginally posted by RedReet View Post

Too early to tell on Della Valle for me but I agree 100% with the rest of the post.Originally posted by Armchairkopite View PostGreat to see Lucas and Ngog put in really good mature performances.

Amazing how 2 young players get slated last season for being put in situations not of their doing (i.e playing more regularly than imagined) yet play them in an relatively inexperienced team and the same fans see them in a different light.
Check all my posts from the last year or so, I find the criticism of Lucas and Ngog embarrassing, hopefully they will continue to improve with age and more experienceThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
