Didn't notice much of this last night, and maybe some reports are putting two and two together, but............

Liverpool's Europa League opponents FK Rabotnicki could face action if UEFA authorities are alerted to an incident of racist crowd behaviour.

Pictures have emerged from Liverpool's 2-0 over the Macedonian side in Skopje of supporters directing monkey taunts towards the English side's players.

Liverpool started the third qualifying round tie at the Philip II Stadium with two black players in their side in double goalscorer David Ngog and 19-year-old winger David Amoo.

Macedonian football has had a problem with racist behaviour in the past.

In September 2003, England players Emile Heskey, Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole were all the subject of abuse in an international against Macedonia at the same stadium.

An English flag was also burned and European governing body UEFA later fined the Football Federation of Macedonia £10,730.

Seems even more stupid when their striker was black, doesn't it. The bunch of morons.

If proven, they should be kicked out for a few years to make a stand

            tut tut......

anyway, getting back to the game, i only saw highlights and i know the opposition were about as useful as a spare prick but the following points i would have are:

            - I think NGOG looks like he has bulked up a bit over the summer. If he can get a run of games then i think he could be turned into a very handy player. Definately worth keeping considering his value to be honest. The one thing to saw about the whole Ngog situation is that if Roy Hodgson can turn Bobbay Zamora into a 20 goal-a-season striker, then he can do the same for Ngog!!!

            - The black kit is class!!! Much nicer than that dopey white one with the pin-stripes..... i think we should set up a facebook group or something saying how we want the team to play away games in black kit only.........

            - Lucas can develop into a very good player for us.....

            - Aquilani should be sold in my opinion.....if we can get anything near 10 - 12m for him......i hope i am wrong but i don't think he is required....

Are UEFA going to do anything about it?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Am I right in saying that N’Gog also qualifies as home grown next year?

Completely disagree about the kits BTW.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

It's a bit odd as I recall from watching it last night that they had a black player in their team too - some Brazilian I think it was.

I can't believe this racist **** still occurs. Knowing the way Uefa have dealt with Spanish teams in the past, it'll be no more than a slap on the wrist and a €10 fine.

No he was 21 last season and had only completed 2 seasons with us, you need to complete 3 seasons before the end of the season in which you turn 21 to qualify as homegrown.

Yeah.........might even have been a couple of Brazilians on the pitch at some point for them, and I certainly remember seeing at least one black player.

Still there have been instances of this in the past.........can't recall who it was, but there was one team's set of fans who had a horrendous reputation for taunts towards the opposition black players, yet their star player was black . Might have been in the Dutch League, although I'm sure it happens in Russia as well.

If there is evidence, as this report suggests, then I'm sure it'll be up on the web at some point, and UEFA will do their usual **** all about it.
