NextGen Series Dates Confirmed!

Liverpool have confirmed that their inaugural match in the NextGen Series will see them face Sporting Lisbon at Anfield.

Rodolfo Borrell will take charge of an U19 side that will entertain the Portuguese outfit on Wednesday, August 17, kick off 7pm.

The young reserves will also take on Norwegian side, Molde and German outfit, Wolfsburg before concluding Group 2 with a trip to Lisbon.

NextGen Series fixtures in full:

Sporting Lisbon (H) - August 17
Molde (a) - September 7
Wolfsburg (H) - September 14
Molde (H) - September 29
Wolfsburg (a) - October 4
Sporting Lisbon (a) - November 15

There was an article a while back saying they didn’t secure TV rights with any broadcaster but selected matches will be shown.

Our u18's won 7-0 against Preston 21 goals in 3 matches.

Hat-trick for David Moli, two for Morgan again and one for Jack Dunn and Henoc John Mukendi.

Noticed him a few months back - Moli and he looked very good.

I posted this a few pages back at the time:

Watched a bit of the victory shield last night.

England were 2-0 up at the start of the second half, only seen about up to 60 mins.

Turns out the lad who scored for England U16s before being subbed on 60minutes with injury, was a lad who plays for Liverpool. Big huge centre forward, and looks very good in the air. David Moli - anyone heard anything of him?

So nice to see that we've got some real potential by the look of it coming through the youth ranks at the moment, if we can get a few of them to make it through to the 1st team that would be brilliant.
