Cannot get over how poor Joe Cole is. I think he's one most unfit Prem players I've ever seen

I thought that after 10 minutes, both poor and unfit, especially after the close up of him huffing and puffing. Then he played well for 10 mins looked ok, then spent the next 10 mis-controlling the ball. This was the theme for most of the match, played well in patches then struggled in others. Thought he was still overall our second best player, but nowhere near a first team place.

I've been looking forward to watching Shelvey in that role and he didn't disappoint. I don't see this attacking or box-to-box midfielder that we apparently signed, but have him sit deeper with the game ahead of him and he should do well. Cracking goal and by far the best player on the park.

Was pleased with Wilson too although I didn't pay as much attention 20 mins so not sure if he was at fault for the second.

I thought Poulsen was Rodden until I heard his name after 25 mins.

Lovely 70 yard pass by Suso in first half, but he just couldn't get in the game as much as he wanted to.
