It's a fair prediction although his reasons are aload of ****e.

I think we'll come 4th/5th,can't see us finishing in the top 3 with our current defence and midfield.Alot will depend on how good Man City are,Spurs will struggle balancing the CL and League,Villa haven't stregthened at all but Everton could challenge us if they find a decent striker.

Name me 3 players that you would have in any team in the top 4.

I can think of Rooney and Possibly Vidic
Van Der Sar, Vidic, Evra, Rooney.

Most of the other teams have players that are as good or if not better in most positions.

Anyway, this isnt a Man Utd forum, why are we discussing there team.
The same arguments have been said year in, year out, for ages. And yet, they always seem to be there or thereabouts. Ferguson hasnt won that many titles by fluke, he knows what he's doing.

It's foolhardy to write them off.

A lot will depend on Hodgson, as a new manager has different ideas and it is impossible to say how well they will work as it would be purely guess work.

Our main problem is that many of our key first team players ahve a past history of being injury prone. Torres, Agger, Cole and Aurelio are four first teamers who could very easily only end up being available for half the number of premiership games. Add Aquilani, and then Martin Kelly and even Johnson and Skrtel last year. We look like the complete opposite of reliability.

If our new sports science team are a success though, we would of course I think be possible title challengers. But squads that rely on certain players staying fit, tend to be the ones that get most hit by injuries.

He couldn't displace that West Ham reject in the Mexico side, I'm hoping he's the new Manucho or Mame Diouf

              8th at best.

No way are they going to do better than Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Tottenham, Everton and Villa.

A Liverpool fan said to me the other day, whilst tapping his nose knowingly, number 19 this year Sonny, number 19. Well I feel that he's being a little pessimistic - but wouldn't it be nice to see 'em go back to where they belong.

Shame really as I always liked Roy Hodgson

Looks like this one was spot on.
