Wilshire has been signing new contracts every year since he was 15. So this rubbish about arsenal giving their star youngsters 6 or 7 year contracts is just that.

He has been their crown jewel for all that time as well. Many have known him as a future England international for at least three years.

Are you pissed? Players aren't allowed to sign professional contracts until their 17th birthday! Hence the reason why we had to wait to give Suso a contract - it was given to him on Nov 19th: his birthday.

You can sign schoolboy terms or whatever it is before then which more or less means you can leave at any time.

And it's not one long contract players sign - it's rolling contracts. Standard policy at every club.

Who said anything about a couple of thousand???
I never said the terms of the contract would stay the same every year?

Have you ever signed a professional contract? if not then I suggest you have a think before you post about **** you don't understand

          Oooo, get him.

But Wiltshire was 18 and a first team player.

Have you - read that ****ing article! He's signed a 5 year deal (and not a 7/8 year deal) earning £40k a week - he's already a first team regular, in the FULL England squad and so Arsenal can afford to do that. Do you think they offer £40k to all there promising young players who have not even played in the first team

Suso hasn't even played a first team game yet and has JUST turned 17. How can you offer someone who may turn out to be **** £40k a week! Talk about not understanding ****.

Nabil El Zhar had played first team games and was a first team squad member. I think he was on £2000 a week.

IIRC, the first professional contract offered to youngsters at LFC has a capped salary. I think they get paid 50k a year as well as having all their expenses (accomodation etc) paid for.

No. It's definitely 40k a week, not per year.

Another MKKB video. This one has some good highlights of Suso's excellent passing game.

Was pretty slow to load for me so you might want to start it then pause it and come back it it after a while...

Sell Babel and give Suso Babel's place on the bench.

He is such a special talent that he already could make an impact in the games IMO.

His passing is already on par with Alonso's although he is very much one footed. If he does ever step up and become a first team regular, he will be like Fabregas and probably get 15/20 assists a season. He's very far off the first team though - the last few games he has played he's actually been anonymous. But I think that's down to the fact they have got him playing in a more deeper defensive position which is typical of how ****e this country is at nurturing technically gifted players.

Haha, no chance. Not by a long way yet, BUT his vision and ability to read the game seems similar to Alonso.

A different type of player though IMO and he needs to be playing with better players now to really push on, and the only way is to throw him in at the deep end. He will swim I am sure.

Tee - I'm not even exaggerating his passing is easily on par. If you watch him over 90 minutes I promise you that you will agree with me. His age may make you doubt my statement. Yes they are two different players - Suso's best work is further forward. He is already a much better crosser than Alonso although for some reason, Alonso was never really amazing at crossing.

As I said, in the last few reserve games he's played he has actually been anonymous - he's definitely not ready for the first team. He is the most technically gifted youth player we've had in many years.

Maybe he is stagnating in the reserves and the odd cameo for the first team is what he may need?

Crazy as it may sound I genuinely expected him to breakthrough this season and make a few appearances for the first team.

With a ******* like Hodgson, there is no chance of that. If he was English, I'd guarantee Hodgson would have thrown him in for the odd Uefa cup game. Bodge does seem to favour the English young players the patriotic cunt.

Of course he does, thats why Carragher and Gerrard wanted him imo.
