    Pen 1

    Pen 2

That's textbook lauding in my opinion!

I honestly never saw anything even linking us to him from our point of view - i saw his 'come and get me plea' and the thing about him being a Liverpool fan, but nothing from the club's point of view, to suggest he was ever a player we'd looked at.

NO that's why he was bought. When that didn't translate into the EPL he continued to get picked because of his footballing brain.

He was and is still picked not because his brains (not that he doesn't have any) but because his working ethic is second to none.

I despair, reading some of the nonsense on here. Sell one of our most important players who has the priceless ability of scoring crucial goals. Ah but what about the age old cliches, he's all graft no craft, let's replace him with some no mark we have seen on You Tube, "Oh look he runs fast and can do step-overs". I could debate about Kuyt's intelligent positioning and runs and to his goal scoring and assisting record from midfield yet I know it would be wasted, as the fans who watch him every week rate a Turk who has nothing in the highest level over their own player who has excelled in both the World cup and Champions' league

I understand people's frustrations with Kuyt, I've suffered them myself and still do to some degree, but he's a big player for us and what I don't understand is how people can't see that. I'm a convert myself - the evidence in his favour is overwhelming. A man for the big occasions and scores crucial goals - I'll be deeply unimpressed if we sell him.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That's the main thing his detractors seem to ignore.

                            Yes and no.

As much as he scored some memorable ones he also missed many more.

                              Good post mate.

Like alot of people, Kuyt does frustrate me at times but if we sold him you'd have to replace 10-15 goals a season and about a dozen assists...
When you're as skint as we are that's no easy task.

Can't be get ridding of the Kuyt.

So has every player, if you are going to use that argument you can rule everyone out.

Kuyt is one of our most effective players.
