No one can deny his hard-working ethic but I never rated his football skills and getting old (already 30) definitely does not help either.

If we could get around £10-12m I would gladly depart especially as that money could be used to bring Arda..

What really makes me laugh is this thread was started with a post lauding Kuty for banging in two pens! (80 grand a week footballer scores from 12 yards shocker). Do people realise that in 30+ Prem games that season he managed ONE other goal! From thirty plus games that season he scored one goal from open play. It's truly staggering how so-called "Legend" status is thrown around by our fans these days

According to player in-players out net balance, we have about £9-9.5m left to spend so if that is that case we can go after Ola and Arda if Kuyt is gone.

He was picked because he was a prolific striker in Dutch league (71 goals in 101 games) and that would be considered footballing skills.

I think Kuyt does a crucial job for us and at this point, i fail to see anyone else in our squad who could do anywhere near the same job.
