Dirk Kuyt continues to dig his way out of Liverpool as he channels a path towards Inter, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Despite reports claiming the Reds told Inter their man was not on the market, Kuyt's agent has offered a contrasting view.
He claims the clubs are negotiating, but are yet to reach an agreement over a deal. It seems Kuyt is perceiving a quick exit, but talks are still fumbling.
"The two clubs continue to talk, but things are moving slowly," agent Rob Jansen said.
"The difference between demand and offer is important. My client told Liverpool he no longer wants to be involved as this is something that regards his career and life.
"It doesn't mean he wants to leave at all costs, but when a club like Inter comes along it's normal to look into the situation further."

Kuyt does want to move (he strikes me as the ultimate professional so I would be surprised)
Or
Kuyt should sack his agentThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Name one. Then name one that is available. Then name one that would come here. I can't think of many that wouldn't be a big gamble. I'd take Wright-Phillips for £6m and use the rest on a ****ing big shield, a massive deflector for all the abuse Mr Hodgson has and will no doubt continue to get in the coming months.Originally posted by cream View Post£15m could get us a top class winger.Always borrow money from a pessimist. I don't know much about any of them although obviously I've heard their names come up in discussions and several people have been wanking themselves silly over turan all summer. Apart from that I haven't seen much of them. I'm not sure a flair player from abroad is whats required when the team is struggling. If any of them went into chelsea, arsenal, utd etc's team I'm sure they'd hold their own. But with the darl cloud hanging over us and the lack of confidence flowing throughout the squad I wonder if it'd be too much. At least with Shaun Wright-Phillips you know you'd be getting pace, ability to cross on occassions and those lovely big lips. Seems a chirpy little chap, certainly one who wouldn't mope around being homesick.Originally posted by Mostar View PostHere are few:

I would take him too as he would make our squad stronger and certainly gives some speed and width, which we desperately need.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostI don't know much about any of them although obviously I've heard their names come up in discussions and several people have been wanking themselves silly over turan all summer. After tonights comments it looks like the boys staying and fair play to the lad, great attitude.
I'm not his biggest fan but he's capable of great displays and if he can get back to his best his sheer will and determination can win games. He hasn't got the skill or the pace, but he's an intelligent player and never stops running.
Really needs to get back to his best if we are to have a good season. We need the big senior pros to have a good year and I'd class Dirk as one of those.Forwards.......

That pretty much sums up for me and if true that Internazionale is offering £15m I'd gladly take it and invest in a natural winger.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostAfter tonights comments it looks like the boys staying and fair play to the lad, great attitude.

Quote from Dirk himself! On BBC site
"As far as I know my future is at Liverpool," said Kuyt after helping the Reds beat Trabzonspor in their Europa League qualifier.
"I have had a great time here so far and hope my future here will be great as well and that I can win trophies with Liverpool."
Hopefully that puts to bed him wanting to go!

"My future is at Liverpool," said Kuyt. "I have had four great years at the club. Unfortunately I have not won any trophies but hopefully I will do in the future. The point for me was that I'm 30 years old and I wanted to know if any club in the world showed any interest in me. The club spoke to me and explained everything. They said I was really important for Liverpool and that made me a really proud person. At that point I focused my thoughts on Liverpool."
I agree with Hodgson - they're our four most important players."Dirk is a player I've always said is an important part of my plans," said Hodgson. "I made it perfectly clear we don't welcome any offers and he's not for sale. But that doesn't mean in the background there have not been talks between his agent and the club. But as far as I'm concerned he is someone I believe in and count on. It's important we improve the team around the likes of Gerrard, Reina, Torres and Kuyt, and not sell them."

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
