He obviously felt confident that Barca or Inter would come in with an offer that LFC would accept - whether that means he expected them to pay £25m ish, or whether he expected us to accept something stupid, like £16m, i dunno.

In any case, Barcelona's first offer isnt going to be their final offer. They'll go to about £16m or so, IMO.
