Rafa was a potentially great manager gone bad due to the situation we are in. Although i am not sure his managerial style suits these molly coddled professional players of today, but he is a born winner for sure.
Roy is a steady eddie who has never been given a chance with a top side.....is there a reason for this? only time will tell._____________________________________

This threadOriginally posted by Marsh View Postthe point is that if they thought that badly of him as you are indicating then wouldnt it have been easier to not have offered a contract at all?
i dont like seafood but i dont go to a seefood restaraunt and then say but i am only going to pay £1 for the lobster becasue i dont like it. I just dont go in the firstplace.
Perkins, you may be one of the most objectionable and ill informed posters in many a long year (I remember you on KT, you spouted large amounts of daily ****e on there too). You type faster than you think mate.
But you certainly keep things ****ing spicy.

Is it? Perhaps by some.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostRafa was in charge for more than one season. Why is last season the only one ever referenced by Roy fans?
Last season they came 12th and got to a European final.
The season before they finished top 8 to qualify for europe.
The season before he kept them up.
Thats 2 and a half very good seasons for me.
I don't know why people go on about one season.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

You just don't get it. How is that different to people's feelings about Roy? Lots of us are not excited by him, but we "all hope he adapts".Originally posted by danperkins View PostThats he was terrible in the World Cup and that i wasn't excited by him but i'll get behind him and hope he adapts. Whats wrong with that? Do you know my original point or are you just going off the point with the others?
You are without doubt the most hypocritical poster on here. I love how you react to people pointing out your criticisms of players and you just say "So what? I'm right"

You are the Jedward of internet posters. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

You actually saidOriginally posted by danperkins View PostThats he was terrible in the World Cup and that i wasn't excited by him but i'll get behind him and hope he adapts. Whats wrong with that? Do you know my original point or are you just going off the point with the others? But the best bit was you ripped Meireles apart just two days after sayingOriginally posted by danperkins View PostI like Roy but having watching Merieles over the year i think i he terrible, gutted. Really hope i'm wrong, i really do but not excited by this at all. Was actually taking piss out of him in the world cup, haha egg on my face. Woke up to text by mate absolute Merieles, shocked.
Just admit you've made an arse of yourself and we can all move on, you're just digging deeper and deeper here.Originally posted by danperkins View Postbut i'm not gonna to bitch about players or knock them when they have only played 45-90 mins or haven't even signed for us, i just think that its very premature and knee jerk.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Hang on nobody said we shouldn't criticise anyone mate, your going off the point with the others, i merelt stated before all this **** was flung at me that "At this particular juncture with all that he has had to deal with i don't feel criticism is due"Originally posted by Marsh View Postoh the lack of perspective is still there shining like a beacon.
you say people cant or shouldnt critisize Roy, fair point but you would have done better if not having slagged off two new players if not more of them.
You say that Javanovic isnt playing well but then surely we could argue Roy isnt oh yeah but its a new club for Roy and he hasnt had time etc etc has Javanovic?
i am not sure why you think your arguments are valid then not valid when they apply to both cases.
Lets no go off this point, i never said anyone shouldn't or can't criticize Roy, where did you get that from? I said to Shaggy if in 2 months we are still palying like this i'll be screaming from the rafters at him too, and criticism will be justified, and lets not compare Jovo,Maxi's position with Roy's.
This argument is going different ways to my original point which remains "Roy doens't deserve this much stick at this particular time" never said he is immune to it, sure i disagreed with his team selection and lack of urgency in another thread, thats criticism but like i said i feel he deserves some slack, how is that not valid?

Instead of rehashing quotes to suit your argument and literally ignoring everything i'm saying to you, answer some of things i have said and stop this lame, childish attempts to blow things epically out of proportion.Originally posted by Chris View PostYou actually said

you can admit that you know your arguments should be applied to the two players mentioned

Talking of keeping things in proportion, who else is waiting for a retraction of the childish and lame accusation that any LFC supporters want Hodgson to fail?.
