He was cheap (compensation wise)

You are right about Jova, he has been uninspiring in the games he's played as a whole.

I think the point though is that where you're saying people should refrain judging Roy at this point as he needs time etc etc you/we should do the same with some of the new players

the point is that if they thought that badly of him as you are indicating then wouldnt it have been easier to not have offered a contract at all?

Maxi is a complete pussy, always has been. Not his game to get involved in tackles which is way i cant see him making it is the premier league, and so far he has been sub standard. Jovo has got boucned around in last few games and has played terrible.
