I can understand this actually. Perhaps he sees Poulsen as the stronger of the two when it comes to breaking up the play and after the midweek game (and I'm going by one of the European games last season, embarrassingly can't remember exactly which one) he sees Lucas as more of a box to box midfielder. So this leaves the more attacking of the two DM positions and Miereles should get this ahead of Lucas every game for me.
