we did end up having a few very decent chances at the end - right again
we did deserve our point at the very least - right again

in the dressing room he'll be telling the players what he really feels about some of their performances.

He can do no right with some of you.
Come on man. Arsenal are 2nd.

We're 15th. And playing pre-historic, primitive football and being bossed by whoever we face.

There was nothing happy about that game...

poulsen should never be on the pitch, let alone at the club

Hardy leaving it to the last minute. Pick somethig else more credible to criticise, there's plenty of choice.

It reminds me of when McClaren was England manager and Iain Duncan Smith was Tory leader. Or was it the other way round?

Anyway, they were both out of their depth. Let's hope Hodgson is a strong swimmer.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

We were absolutely dire today, we set up the wrong way and for long periods were outplayed at home by Sunderland We only got better in the second half when we became desperate, before that we really struggled and were second best.

All out Premiership games this season we've been second best, and in some regards we're lucky to have got the 6 points we have

We have to get it right soon, I was desperately hoping for a last minute goal to at least boast morale and confidence.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Obviously not as thick as you for still thinking Hodgson is good enough and coming up with bull**** about the fans in the ground. He is **** and your in a minority for thinking otherwise.

There is a long way between our play last season and this season, we were much better last season.

No, it didn't. Gerrard and Torres just saved our skin, again.

But you're on a roll now!

Know how you feel though, it seems like an eternity since we've had any real feeling of positivity around our club (even though in reality at this point 2 years ago we were genuine contenders). What a shambles

Anyway don't worry lads, Dan Perkins will be along soon to assure us all everything will be alright, Roy is the man and Poulsen will be better for us than Mascherano.

""There are no easy home wins in the Premier League, you have to fight for everything. The way we came back from 2-1 down was very commendable and towards the end of the game we were creating a lot of chances. We thoroughly deserved our point and I'm very pleased to end what's been a bad week, on a high." "

how the **** can he say we ended it on a high? god that is depressing to hear, we played 2-2 with Sunderland at Anfield and outplayed for most of the game even - for ****s sake that statement almost sounds like Houllier in his last season

I didn't know this but apparently Torres first goal that was disallowed wasn't offside. [sigh]
