good signs at times last night.

pass and move seemed to be the order of play at the start.

a goal would have settled us and we would have kicked on but the defensive frailitites ( johnson does not like defending , skittles is not assured at the back and kelly should not be in our first team ) really showed through second half.

cole will take a bit more time to settle but he will be good for us. last night he had plenty of the ball but in lucas and poulsen he didnt have any avenue to offload to. with ste coming back in on sunday he will have an outlet.

last nights game showed one thing . . . . . . agger needs to be playing centre half. he is composed and comfortable on the ball and the sooner he gets a game with carra at the back the better we will be.

I wonder what the interview process was:

Cec "So Roy, what can we achieve this season if we give you the job?"
Woy "Well, that nasty Spaniard ripped the team apart last season, got rid of all of your best players, leaving kids and piss poor brazilian's, expectations should be low"
Cec "We got 86 points season before, 4-1 at ot and 5-1 against Real?"
Woy "At Fulham we sit back and let the other team dictate, no matter who they are and where we play, we need to dampen expectations at Liverpool"
Cec "Who would you look to sign Woy"?
Woy "Well there is a top LB at Fulham, he is 30 and couldnt hack it at Spurs or West Ham, but we need to keep expectaions down"
          Cec "Anyone else?"
Woy "Portugeuse Cm with a great reputation, well play him wide right"
Cec "were will u plat torres?"
          Woy "Dont Know Cec."

That's real ****ing annoying, the signing of Cole anf Meireles have been pretty pointless so far. More square pegs in round holes

your way wont limit the amount of **** games though will it craig?

since when did we become the type of fans who hound managers out?

or are we only good fans when winning?
Maybe since we had a manager who has no understanding of the club or the fans.

Your nicey-nicey approach might start to work, but we'll be in the Championship before it does.

If you want to wait until our top players have all ****ed off, then that's fine. I'd rather limit the damage by seeing him leave ASAP.

Or we've replaced Finnan, Hyypia, Riise, Mascherano, Alonso, Aquilani, Keane (for what it is worth) and Riera with a bunch of useless cunts.

Look back at 2007 when we had Bellars and Fowler in the squad too. And Crouch. FFS. What a mess. What a mess we are now in.

We've been downgrading slowly due to the cunts in charge, as bad as things are getting on the pitch lets not forget the feckers that have caused this.

First and foremost we need ridding of this current regime, then whatever happens to Roy is his problem.

Yes ew have been downgrading and the club is without doubt in turmoil.

I Just think that Roy is not a stong enough leader of men to get us out of this hole!!

I am convinced another manager would get more out of these players than he is doing.

I'm not in anyway saying we'd be at the top and challenging or even winning every game but we certainly wouldnt be as bad as we are now

I truely believe his tactics are detrimental to us
I that's not what I said, it's what I mean It's like having a 10 year old in charge. Honestly I think Roy is just scared, of us, other teams and having too much expectations on him.

I agree with that. We're going into a sharp decline, Nando's dropping off his shoulders as if he's fed up of it all. If you can't motivate a player such as him, then your place is definitely not at managing Liverpool FC.

I've also seen Jamie Carragher's comments this morning and this 'no quick-fix' mentality is totally wrong in my opinion. They should ask themselves why we had to change things in the first place (as in the playing/managing side of things), as it's for all to see that it's not the root cause of our problems.

Our board should work harder getting rid of the owners/finding better owners rather than trying to change things on the pitch. It's really depressing.
                              Are we winning?

The thing that is so disheartening for me at the moment isn't even the results - in fairness, drawing away to a semi-respectable team in Europe could have been worse - its the manner of the performances. And that's what Roy in his post-match comments really doesn't get. Utrect looked to have far more ideas on the ball than us last night, put in some dangerous crosses and will probably be sat at home this morning thinking "THAT was Liverpool???? They were there for the taking". Under Benitez we had plenty of dull games where we controlled possession, never really looked under threat but lacked cutting edge if Torres and Gerrard didn't do their hero act. Under Hodgson we just don't seem to have a clue in any area of the pitch - defenders look nervy, midfielders have no idea what to do with the ball, and strikers spend most of their time standing around looking aimless.

Its quite obvious we aren't good enough in terms of personel to challenge for major honours this season, however its also quite obvious that the players we do have could play with some semblance of a plan re. putting the ball in the back of the net.

I'd genuinely take Roy Evans-esque footy right now, we'd never win anything significant but we certainly won't playing like this, and at least watching us wouldn't feel like a chore only done out of duty
