I will never be pleased when a Liverpool manager get the sack because then we have gone backwards.

I won't celebrate when Roy get the sack, no way. If he succeeds then I will praise him as much as I praise every Liverpool manager that succeeds.

Right now he deserves all the stick he gets. It's Roy that acts like an idiot in interview after interview and play a **** system.

If Roy is going to use Cole and Meireles as RM and LM he shoud seriously consider going 3-5-2, with Gerrard playing deep just off Torres. I think that could be quite an exciting team:

          -----------------------------------Reina

          ---------------Carra-------------Skrtel-----------------Agger

          Johnson----------------------Poulsen----------------------------Aurelio/Konch

          --------------Meireles---------------------------------------Cole

          -------------------------------------Gerrard

          -----------------------------Torres

Well they never said they were '****'. They've all more or less said the same thing...Hughes has pushed them 10-15 yards further up the pitch, a more attacking game, less cautious, more ball work in training, less focus on defence, defensive midfielders (Etuhu) being given a licence to get forward whereas before he had none whatsoever.....etc etc.

Which is exactly how he has us playing. It's his way, never mind if it's FC Hurdy Gurdy, Flinkenpump Kickers or Liverpool FC - there's one way, it's his way and that's that.

Hodgson has just continued on with what Rafa left. Give him time. Hodgson never promised fourth there where no promises. Save your stick for Hicks, Gillet, Purslow and co. Now they did promise

I prefer that style of play the way Hughes plays higher up the pitch etc. But i think we all knew with Hodgson he was a cautious coach. Benitez played with two anchormen. After the *******s sacked Rafa there wearnt many managers that wetted the appetitie. We sacked one of Europes best, now managing the European Champions. As Benitez said the owners knew nothing about football. Hodgson and O'Neill where the only ones available really. Hiddink tied up etc. Both O'Neill and Hodgson play cautious football. We ended up with Hodgson. I think we should support him.

If we'd been quicker off the mark we could have had Deschamps. Or Eriksson

That's the depressing thing for me. He came with the reputation for 'getting the best out of players'. Well **** that, only if they fit into his **** 442. The longer he stays the longer he has to dismantle the squad to suit his (imo) ****e, dated tactics. We need to cut our losses and get rid

Not sure if it's been posted but I heard a very strange quote from Roy on LFCTV last night re: Left back.................He said " We have 3 left backs in the squad and they are all injured So we had to play a centre back ( Kelly ) there"...........I couldn't believe my ears............Is he seriously taking the piss or winding Agger up, Im quite shocked by some of the bollocks that he talks it's really ,It's the 2nd time I have heard him referring to Agger playing left back, I think he said earlier in the season that " Agger isn't playing because he dont like playing LB" .........the man is ****ing deluded imo

Lucas and Mascherano in the CM was bad enough last year, Lucas and Poulsen is even worse. I shudder to think what will happen if Stevie gets injured.

Exactly why spend £11m quid on a player to play out of position from the start, ok we don't play with proper wingers or width from midfield (a mistake IMO), but there are plenty of other players who can and do play a narrow right midfield role, surely we'd have been better off buying one of instead

It's one of the things that I have found so frustrating over the last 15-20 years, we buy decent players but don't know how to use them, under the likes of Evans, Houllier and Benitez we signed 'in the hole' type players (Berger, Smicer, Garcia etc) and played them out of position in wide areas, now Roy seems to have taken it a step further with this one.

Agger is not a left back I don't know why he keeps saying he is, I don't know about winding Agger up but it certainly winds me up.

The thing is, if you look at like for like games from last season we are 2 points down which isn't good enough but we can hopefully push on if we can raise confidence. To me we are just continuing where we left off last season, it wasn't a happy camp then either but that seems to get glossed over a bit as if 7th was ok because Roy wasn't the manager then and yes we want 4th place this year. 7th won't be good enough, just like it wasn't last year!
                              Nicked off RAWK

                              At this stage last season:

                              P W D L F A PTS
                              6 4 0 2 16 9 12

It was seen as a disasterous start and it's fair to say that the pressure was on us very early from the press. Look at Man Utd in 2nd place this season.

                              P W D L F A PTS
                              6 3 3 0 16 9 12

                              This season we are here:

                              P W D L F A PTS
                              6 1 3 2 6 9 6

That's half the points total we had at the same stage last season.

                              After 10 games last season:

                              P W D L F A PTS
                              10 6 0 4 24 13 18

So if we win all of our next 4 games, well be where we were at the same stage last season.
So very differing reactions from the fans and the press when comparing us last season and Man Utd this season.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of the media if we win our next 4 but only equalled what was seen as a disasterous start last season.

Reira knew that his time was up when he acted like an idiot(kicking Pacheco). Not exactly a believable person if you say so. He acted like this in club after club. Benayoun probably had a done deal with Chelsea months before it hit the media. Rafa most probably found that out and acted the way he should do. He also lied in that interview about his playing time so who knows how much of the interview that is the truth or not?
