i have thought this for a couple of weeks now - maybe through blind hope more than anything - but the players we have just aren't performing for hodgson, and hodgson looks like he just doesn't know what to do to change it and the reason im hopin is they all know knew owners are coming in and things will change.
I don't know what to think atm though...i do think hodgsons ****ed though and I don't like this sentinment of "the liverpool way is not to sack a manager after 7 league games" - well tbh, he's ****ed, there is nothing i can see him doing too turn it round - i feel sorry for him.
For me I think the two options are
if new owners are going to come in - let hodgson go and have kenny in as caretaker manager - i don't know how he'll do, but he can't do much worse and at least has the advantage of being a liverpool legend and having the fans on his side - he may just spark the few class players we have back into life.
if we don't get new owners then I hate to say it, i've never thought i'd going for him, but i think i'd be asking martin o neil too come in. Purely because i feel we need a new manager and i don't think we could get anyone else.i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I think it's clear that the players are lacking passion - BUT I think it's also hard for them to get excited and positive playing undre Hodgson. They read those headlines, they are instructed to get behind the ball and play out of positions. They have to look at the best defender on the bench and bunch of no marks being brought in to replace world class players. They are probably tired of seeing the manager stick with a game plan that doesn't work for 85 minutes.Originally posted by PTP View Posti have thought this for a couple of weeks now - maybe through blind hope more than anything - but the players we have just aren't performing for hodgson, and hodgson looks like he just doesn't know what to do to change it and the reason im hopin is they all know knew owners are coming in and things will change.
Of course they are lacking passion and find it difficult to motivate themselves.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Would have to pay him after the club is sold? The new owner.
Zero chance that G&H will pay any money so he will stay at least until the ownership situation is sorted out. If he don't walk of course.

Can't really see how we can change much until the ownership situation is resolved. Assuming a sale does go through in the next month or so, you'd have to guess that new owners would want to bring their own man in.
For the sake of stability, even though everything is **** at the moment, I think we should hang on to him. The new owners then can bring someone new in, and hopefully they'll have time to asses the squad and make some plans for the January transfer window.
Or we're stuck with the 2 cunts and then who knows what happens

Agree he won't be sacked, but if we get rid now, put Kenny in as a caretaker, we can get a perminent manager if we're sold, or keep Kenny on if things are going well.Originally posted by Big Dave View Post

The Yanks won't want to shell out anymore cash on pay offs, they will leave him in charge until things change i.e. RBS takes it off their hands, they get yet another extension on the loans (roy will be staying with that as well) or we actually get new owners.Originally posted by Operation View PostAgree he won't be sacked, but if we get rid now, put Kenny in as a caretaker, we can get a perminent manager if we're sold, or keep Kenny on if things are going well.
I'd love to see Kenny in to take control for the short term whilst the off pitch stuff continues to go on.

Sack him and get Daglish in untill the end of the season. He can't be any worse than Hodgson is atm and will unite the fans.It may seem abit of a Newcastle to do it but I couldn't give a ****.Me and one of my mates looked at our reamining fixtures and reckon we'll only get 41 points,so if we go into administration we'll go down in our opinion. What a ****ing mess.
