If there was an obvious alternative then I think I would want him gone now. As it is I'm hesitant. I'm erring with each game further towards the sack him camp though.
I'd like to hear what someone like Dalglish thought of the situation and what he would do to change it. He's the only person who I think we could reasonably expect to tempt into taking the task who might actually be able to make us bounce. I do worry that he has been out of the game too long though. That said I imagine his methods still post date Roy's."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

I don't know how naff 80s synth pop would help though..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Agree, although I think the morale boost would probably make up for any initial tactical failings.Originally posted by dww View PostIf there was an obvious alternative then I think I would want him gone now. As it is I'm hesitant. I'm erring with each game further towards the sack him camp though.

I'd imagine we'd see the diamond shape pass and move come back in from Kenny - what the club needs and needs desperately is some sort of moral boost - the King would give us this.
Christ we're screwed financially, are owned by Satan (Hicks) and his pet gimp (Gillett) we have gargamel getting us to play like smurfs, we've got so called football pundits and journalists having a pop at us every chance they get, we need something to get this season going again.
I feel for Roy to an extent but he's walked into club in serious trouble and he's just not up to changing things.
**** me I am depressed about things!

There is no chance that we will sack him until we get a new owner or the bank takes over. Who would pay the money if we sack him before someone buy the club? The answer is Gillett and Hicks.
Would have to pay him after the club is sold? The new owner.
Zero chance that G&H will pay any money so he will stay at least until the ownership situation is sorted out. If he don't walk of course.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a
