This is as clear cut a poll I've seen. This thread might be linked to a Twitter 'trending' topic and spread out to the world in the hope that the word is known to him that he's no longer wanted. I don't think he'll last long, something will give very soon.

A shambolic performance and an Everton win at Goodison in two weeks time might just tip Roy over the edge.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if O'Neill is LFC manager in a few weeks. I for one think he'd get the lads fired up, organised and would get us out of trouble.
Get the feeling many L'Pool fans wouldn't back him though.

I fully expected a comfortable win today which would have had us 2 pts off 4th. It made sense to see how today went given that we'd be odds on to get the win. The fact that we are bottom 3 after 7 games in puts us in crisis mode and it's time to move the guy on.
We have two weeks now without a game. Let's make use of it by making the change.

He's very effective and has done well wherever he has gone but i know some Villa fans regarded his style as "hoofball"Originally posted by Rudo View PostA shambolic performance and an Everton win at Goodison in two weeks time might just tip Roy over the edge.

We won't win at Everton, I can't see us getting anything from that game. His game plan won't change: sit deep, let them have possession and defend our lives. I can see us having a really embarrassing defeat. They're probably already smelling blood.Originally posted by Rudo View PostA shambolic performance and an Everton win at Goodison in two weeks time might just tip Roy over the edge.

the team shape is absolutely shambolic, poulsen is always caught infront of play and the back 4 have zero protection.Originally posted by Rudo View PostA shambolic performance and an Everton win at Goodison in two weeks time might just tip Roy over the edge.

We are defending like ****ing school boys. My 9 year olds play with better shape and organisation than liverpool do.
going forward we have no penetration and no threat. What was the point of bringing maxi on with a couple of minutes left on the clock when we're one down.
Everton will muller us in 2 weeks because they have a solid midfield and some semblence of team shape.
We are royally ****ed.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

That's what happens when the players are instructed in a completely inept manner. They're doing what they're told - and it's nonsense.Originally posted by Rudo View PostLets get one thing straight here, i'm not pro Hodgson, far from it.
But come on lads, the players need to take the blame, along with Hodgson.
Of course we should be pressing the opposition, playing players in their best positions etc etc but at the end of the day with the players we have on the pitch we should be doing alot, alot better. Should certainly be beating Blackpool at home.
Manager's fault, totally.

You can't please everyone, we'll soon see if Villa finish 6th this season like they did in the previous two under O'Neill's management.Originally posted by alunevans View PostHe's very effective and has done well wherever he has gone but i know some Villa fans regarded his style as "hoofball"
He still allowed his flair players like Young and Milner impose themselves on games and brought the best out of Gareth Barry when he was with Villa.
Not to mention his record at Celtic. Ok. He's competing in the SPL but he worked wonders there.

You can't lose to blackpool whilst already in the bottom 3 and survive at Liverpool. Ive defended Roy up to now, but today shows that he's just not cutting it, and there have been no redeeming features in his methods. I can't see anything positive that he's brought to the teams play. I didn't think we could get worse after last season, but jesus roy's achieved that in a short time. It's very sad and totally against what Liverpool are usually about, but there comes a time when you go, **** it, he was the wrong choice, get him out asap and let someone else try and stop the rot.

For those that want him to stay for the meantime. How do you think that things will improve? And what have you seen that makes you think that he can change things.
I just look at the games and there's **** all positives. If there was some sort of positive from match days to take I'd probably be arguing for him. But **** it, we're not organised, fluent in possession or even close to any of that, we're ****house and we make poor opponents look quality.
Who would've thought that quiet, polite anasuming uncle Roy was capable of this catastrophe!?!
I can't handle making posts on mine, I re read them later and I sound like i'm an uneducated ****. They're laden with errors.Originally posted by PTP View Post
