paul smith the football correspondent for the sunday mirror said on record that senior liverpool players were unhappy and not impressed by hodgsons methods.

would these same senior players be the ones that actively helped in removing rafa from his post ?

roy is out of his depth. end of.

Worrying if true. Gerrard has looked pretty out of sorts to me tbh

If they wanted Rafa out then they wanted him out, they'd worked with him for 5 years so that's up to them, the quotes from Valencia players about Rafa after he left say it all though

Even if they did want Rafa out, I doubt they wanted Roy in

Ahh, but rumours say they wanted Hodgson in and that they used Talksport to facilitate the move. Don't tell me this info could be incorrect?

Never stopped a good rumour though did it?

Still, Fowlers a smackhead, Gerrard is shagging the sister of his missus who don't have a sister, and Carra used talksport to replace Rafa with Roy.

Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson admits he does not know how serious Fernando Torres' injury is after the striker limped off against Blackpool.

The Tangerines stunned Anfield with a 2-1 win in the Premier League in a result which piles the pressure on Reds boss Hodgson.
Torres limped off after less than 10 minutes on Sunday with a groin problem and the Spaniard was replaced by David Ngog.
Hodgson says he still does not know the extent of the injury, and is not aware of when the problem occurred.

"He has a groin strain, but I don't know how severe it is," Hodgson said.

"They (the medical team) are assessing it at the moment. It happened early in the game which came as a surprise to us.

"We were not aware of any problems with the groin. I don't know if it happened during the course of the game when he stretched for the ball. I don't really know."

Liverpool will want to put the Blackpool result out of their minds as soon as possible but will have to wait until after the international break until they play Everton in a Merseyside derby

I think its clear that this is coded talk to make everyone aware he doesn't think there's anything up with Torres and they've fallen out, and he's come off with not a lot wrong with him. Can't imagine Nando was too happy with the comments about name players not performing as well as his Fulham players of last year (he was clearly referring to Torres's bad form)...question is - is this a Mascherano style refusal to play? Was this a message from Torres that he's off and is not a fan of Hodgson?

Unacceptable if it is. He knows how important he is and how he can change games.

Or maybe Roy is just using him to dig himself out of a ****storm, deflection style.
