Is it just me, or does Roy always seem to set us for failure with his pre-match comments? From the Guardian:

Hodgson said that despite the change of ownership of the club, recent results would make his players "nervous" at Goodison Park and "worried that if the game doesn't go their way they will be criticised from all corners again".

He'll be going to Goodison looking for a draw. Sit deep. Torres in isolation. No width. You could almost write the match report now.

What a complete and utter ****ing loser this man is. The sooner we get rid the better IMO. who ****ing comes out and says their players are nervous on the eve of a derby.

Totally uninspiring and should be given his P45 ASAP. NESV are here to win where Roy think our expectations are too high. **** off!

We will go to Woodison and he will set us up hoping for the draw with Torres on his own getting kicked to **** and the world class Poulson in the middle.

Now that the two cunts have gone, Roy will feel the full wrath of the fans if he doesn't start winning, he really will.

It's true. All excuses have been stripped away now, he's hopelessly exposed. Let's see how he perfoms from here, with no owners to lay the blame on.

                Grim.

I don't think Aggers injury record is as bad as people make out to be honest. Clearly he missed most of 07-08, which is poor, but since then he seems to have been fine for a majority of the time.

Criminal the way that he isn't being picked - can certainly see him going soon if it carries on. The sooner we get someone in to replace Roy the better.

FFS, it's not like his hands are tied with relegation players, he still as Reina, Johnson, Carra, Skrtel, Agger, Gerrard, Meireles, Cole, Torres, Kuyt and even Lucas who can and have performed in this league, it's just a question of being a good manager - I can guarantee it that he will not buy players in january who will improve the first team.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

this situation is somethign we've had to get used to for years now. even when rafa was here skrtel and carra was the prefered option. only when skittles got injured did agger get a game. agger is our best defender IMO but he is injury prone and unless these new docs can sort him out we should be looking to cash in and replace - same with torres ( bit off subject but relevant all the same )
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

Agger is made out of biscuits just like Aurelio, two of them are absolute disasters. Two very good players when fully fit. Agger hasn't played well in long time, i think he's a qulity player but has looked out of sorts for quite some time now, but in saying that no way in this universe should Skrtel be getting in ahead of him.

IMO it was ludacrous Agger starting for Denmark after being injured for us, WTF!!! Can totaly understand why Roy is pissed off, not sure who the blame lies with why he played, Denmark pushing or Agger himself? Either way a big loss for us once again ahead of an important game.

Amoung other positions to fill e.g. LB/LM/CF, we really need a new CB in January, someone commanding, good on ground and good aerially, i sound like a broken record but Chris Samba IMO would be a great option.

I have a sneaky feeling Roy wasn't too bothered at all when Agger declared himself fit for the Danes. I'm sure he could have blocked it if he was that worried. The injury now gives him another convenient excuse for failure and more reason not to play Agger.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah why would Hodgson be arsed about Agger? He never ****ing picks him anyway, unless we have an emergency at left back.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Can't even think of Hodgson nowadays without a bit of a rage descending.
                                3rd place. Worst champions ever.
