I expect Roy to be gone once NESV have sorted things out at boardroom level and have fully scouted and researched a suitable LONG term replacement.

Perfectly correct. Look on the BBC or any media outlet in fact, they all apply the same method and it is correct. Hodgson's quotes are there for all to see.

When I went to school (a while ago) inverted commas were used in pairs to show when a quote begins and ends - there are many more opening quotes than closing quotes in the article. Maybe language has changed since the days when I went to school and I no longer understand it.

No, it's always been like this when the quote carries from one paragraph to the next.

Mate, I don't know why you bother, the article is clearly not edited. If anything it is printed in many papers as something to hold Roy in a positive light. Of course, those printing obviously don't have a clue as it is anything but positive.

I can't speak for anyone else, but we're not used to being a 'small club'. It's irritating when the media stop taking us seriously, but infinitely more when our manager does so. I would never have believed that any Liverpool manager would be so defeatist, it doesn't reflect our team or our city. However mercenary some of our players may be I don't want to hear our manager talking as if we're some ****e club fortunate to be in the Premiership. I don't want to hear our manager accepting or encouraging mediocrity or our acceptance of it. Benitez wasn't perfect, but he was a fighter - Hodgson is a ****house. I can't stand the cowardice of the man. He does not represent the values I believe are integral to being the manager of our beloved club. Roy Hodgson is the most foreign manager we've ever had, he doesn't understand the psyche of this club and its supporters.
