Quite interesting to see who John Henry actually follows on his Twitter account - going from this I am pretty sure he'll be getting a good idea of the feeling towards having Hodgson as our manager - http://twitter.com/John_W_Henry/following

I expect Roy to be gone once NESV have sorted things out at boardroom level and have fully scouted and researched a suitable LONG term replacement.

It's crystal clear. And if you're referring to the quotation marks at the start of a new paragraph (and none at the end until the very end of his quote), then that is correct.

Perfectly correct. Look on the BBC or any media outlet in fact, they all apply the same method and it is correct. Hodgson's quotes are there for all to see.
When I went to school (a while ago) inverted commas were used in pairs to show when a quote begins and ends - there are many more opening quotes than closing quotes in the article. Maybe language has changed since the days when I went to school and I no longer understand it.

Tomkins, thisisanfield, SOS and saveliverpoolfc - only follows 9 people so 4 about LFC gives an impression that he's interested to see views etc... from the fans.

Thats the way I see it but it's obviously an assumption from me!

No, it's always been like this when the quote carries from one paragraph to the next.

In proofreading and editing your writing, remember that quotation marks always travel in pairs! Well, almost always. When quoted dialogue carries from one paragraph to another (and to another and another), the closing quotation mark does not appear until the quoted language finally ends (although there is a beginning quotation mark at the start of each new quoted paragraph to remind the reader that this is quoted language). Also, in parenthetical documentation (see the Guide to Writing Research Papers), the period comes after the parenthetical citation which comes after the quotation mark" (Darling 553).

Mate, I don't know why you bother, the article is clearly not edited. If anything it is printed in many papers as something to hold Roy in a positive light. Of course, those printing obviously don't have a clue as it is anything but positive.

All the articles do is once again show Roy for the fool he really is.

He should be booted out now, he makes it worse each time he utters a word.
                  Are we winning?

I said jokingly a few months ago after Hodgson made some mental comment that it's as if he's on a wind up, now i'm starting to think he actually is.

Pepe is the real leader of our club.
                        I hear you Bertie.

If player power means he's in post until the end of the season, they better start pulling their finger our of their arses and start performing.

The Champions League group stages aren’t always exciting but Spurs v Inter Milan, featuring two of my managerial friends, should be a grand exception.

Not many English managers get a crack at the biggest club competition so it’s great for Harry Redknapp to fly the flag.

He faces a master of European football, Rafa Benitez, whose unhappy final season at Liverpool should not overshadow the great times he brought them.

It’s a contrast of styles on the pitch and in the dug-out — and one game I wouldn’t want to miss.

A good spot and a good assumption to make I feel.

Kenny seems to paint a slightly better picture of his relationship with Rafa than Roy would have us believe.........

I would never have believed that any Liverpool manager would be so defeatist, it doesn't reflect our team or our city. However mercenary some of our players may be I don't want to hear our manager talking as if we're some ****e club fortunate to be in the Premiership. I don't want to hear our manager accepting or encouraging mediocrity or our acceptance of it. Benitez wasn't perfect, but he was a fighter - Hodgson is a ****house. I can't stand the cowardice of the man. He does not represent the values I believe are integral to being the manager of our beloved club. Roy Hodgson is the most foreign manager we've ever had, he doesn't understand the psyche of this club and its supporters.
                                I like this.

Your own work or borrowed from someone else?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
