"Blackburn was a bad result but a couple of days before that there was mention of the Champions League when I was interviewed, how quickly things turn around. If we'd won all our games from November onwards I'd be sat here answering questions about a title challenge now, football is a fickle game."

Honestly thought this was a shaggy-style edit job.
What a tool Hodgson is.
If we'd won all 20 league games, we'd be running away with the league - but the point is, we're not.
You dont get points for 'should haves'.

Anyone seen that the LFC press conference was cancelled? Can't see it mentioned looking back over this thread.
LIVERPOOL have cancelled Roy Hodgson’s scheduled press conference today.
The under-fire manager was due to face the media at 1.30pm at Melwood to preview Sunday’s FA Cup clash with Manchester United. However, at 11.45am today it was cancelled.
The Reds insist Hodgson remains in charge and dismissed rumours he had been sacked.
Rather than face the media Hodgson will instead conduct an interview previewing the game with the club's official website.

Hodgson should have his lips surgically sewn together.
I've never heard one individual spew so much nonsense in such a short space of time.
I think there could be a publishing opportunity here for someone to compile a famous book of his quotes. If someone could do that it would be utopia.A humble guy with healthy desire.

I think it's a wise move. It would have been a witch hunt, and he would have dug himself even deeper into the poo.Originally posted by Mattshark View PostRoy is an abject coward as well as an abject manager.
I reckon he has been told it's his last game. There is no need to communicate that to anybody else at this stage.Oh I don't know.

Surely it's not real?'Religion is killing each other over who has the best imaginary friend'

Well it would of been a bit pointless as it was supposed to be a PC about the game when in reality all he is going to get asked is about his future (or lack of it hopefully).Originally posted by dom9 View PostI think it's a wise move. Sorry, but I honestly believe that there is. NESV are currently losing much of the goodwill people had for them when they bought the club off the cancers. They should have acted much, much sooner, and claiming that they are listening to the fans looks a bit shaky right now.Originally posted by dom9 View PostI think it's a wise move. Hodgson OUT NOW!!!Rafa Benitez gave us pride again. He gave us hopes and dreams. He made us feared across the Continent and took us closer to the Premier League Title than anyone since King Kenny. He became one of us and fought on our behalf. Rafa "got" LFC. For me he will forever be a legend. I'd have him back in a heartbeat. YNWA Rafa.
