How do you view messages that people post on someone's twitter page? I've been on John Henry's page and all i see are his own tweets, and his replies to others - but not any messages people have posted for him.

In fact, how do you 'post' on someone else's twitter page? It's not like Facebook where you can 'write' on someone's wall. I dont get it

mike jeffries retweeted something i wrote on john henry's wall on sunday. was just sitting around and suddenly my phone went mental with mentions!

You actually put the name of the person along with "@"in the search bar. For example searching for "@destinydude" gives you all replies to me

Cheers. But if someone posts a message for John Henry with the @ sign in front of it, it doesnt actually appear on his page, does it? So how does he see it?

A message with @JWH is just to indicate the readers that JWH is on twitter or has a twitter account

EDIT(after like 10 mins): The message I'm talking about here is some thing like "Hey folks this is @JWH" indicating to people who read my tweets that JWH exists on twitter not the normal messages you send him with @JWH in the beginning of the tweet

What you see on his page is what he tweets and what has been tweeted to him by the people he "follows".

All the replies that he gets can be seen only by him. "We" get to see hos tweets and tweets to him by people who he follows.

There is a "mentions" tab next to the "timeline" tab which will show all mentions of your username basically.

So he checks this, and he sees everything people are posting to him. Cheers.
