Kenny seems a no brainer in the short term, he knows the club from top to bottom. He is the only candidate who can galvanise the squad and fans and there would be no compensation. If factions do exist and Carragher and Gerrard do hold too much influence, who else would be in better position to face this head on? Any perceived power would be down to their status with the fans, which pales in comparison to the King.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostToo add to above, they should get Kenny in on a temporary basis. Solves all problems and I think with the benefit of knowing all that has happened, Kenny was the right choice all along.

They have owned the club for a week, no new players can come in yet and it takes time to organise a new company before setting off a can of flames firing the manager at the same time then the pressure to replace him. Yeah for sure he is coasting until they fire him but as a priority it wont be the top one right now - he's holding the fort for the moment, in the interim the more he fails the easier the decision becomes. It's a win win all around.

It's not a "win win" at all. The longer this joker is at our club, the harder it will be to get back to where we should be.Originally posted by swishtz View PostThey have owned the club for a week, no new players can come in yet and it takes time to organise a new company before setting off a can of flames firing the manager at the same time then the pressure to replace him. Plus the fact that apparently there's a 28day clause in Hodgson's contract within which they only have to pay him one year's salary if they give him the boot. So we have three weeks to find a replacement and drop-kick him into oblivionOriginally posted by swishtz View PostThey have owned the club for a week, no new players can come in yet and it takes time to organise a new company before setting off a can of flames firing the manager at the same time then the pressure to replace him. The fact a Liverpool manager is still employed when 9 games into the season we are bottom 3, knocked out at home to a lower league side in the cup, is absolutely staggering. Sorry just hit me when saying it out loud ! I remember when this idiot managed Blackburn, I couldn't bear him then and always wondered how any players would respect and be motivated by such a drab person. If i was a top modern day footballer, taking instructions from Roy would seem a joke.
