If he managed to spend 13m give or take on Jones, Konchesky and Poulsen imagine what he'd do with more money.
Things imo took the turn for worse. After today's result and decent game, I personally can see Roy leaving until we have a new CEO and until we have identified a new replacement and I don't think any of those 2 prerequisites have been selected yet.

If he is going to stay for now I also would not allow him to spend a dime. He claimed at the beginning of the season that we will improve and do better than 7th place last year so walk the walk Roy..

Has he been sacked yet? It's Monday and hopefully not MONday, if you know what I mean?

How much blame should we place on kenny for this appointment? Did he not recommend Roy?

Nope, but seen this rumor on Twitter, don't know if there could be anything truth at all in it, but will post it all the same... We can live in hope I guess..

@jd77 view full profile → NESV have placed Dalglish in charge of identifying January transfer targets. Hodgson has 2 weeks 6 pts expected. Right, back to bed.

That was tweeted by John downing from Anfield-online and retweeted by Jim boardman, so make of it what you will...

Could it be true, like I said we can live in hope, or only dream..

I'm almost certain MikeJeffries isn't party to information, but I'll post this anyway:

          mikejefferiesL4 Mike Jefferies
Kenny Dalglish will be promoted today. Beginning of the end for Roy - who couldn't even manage to sound intelligent in post match interviews

The only slim hope we had wassome rumour on the net that may very well have been complete bollocks. Other than the Internet rumours I've seen nothing to suggest he will get the sack.

The owners have already publicly backed him, and the way Roy is talking in the press seems to suggest they understand him to be in a difficult position.

It is ridiculous he is still in a job. The new owners aren't exactly covering themselves in glory here.

jd77 I hate late night texts. Can't put my phone on silent either because it's my alarm!

jd77 @major_dai I would imagine he has more 'pull'. Effectively a Director of Football. Or lack of faith in manager. Either way it's interesting.

Someone should tell him that a lot of phone alarms will still sound even if you have put the phone on silent.

I can quite believe this, it ties in with some rumours I've heard over the last week or so about Kenny
