Does anyone sit behind the dugout? If so are any of the fans making their feelings felt?

I'm worried that after the rousing rendition of YNWA last week NESV think we support the jowly one.

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has "five or six" targets for the January transfer window and desperately wants to add a striker to his ranks.

The Reds have endured their worst ever start to a Premier League season and go into Sunday's game at Bolton third bottom with just nine points.

Hodgson has generally remained optimistic about his side's performances but he does realise the need to strengthen and intends to do so in the new year.

"We are going to be very interested in improving our squad in January," Hodgson said in the Daily Star.

"I'm prepared to accept that a number of players we're looking to sign do make five or six - but I don't wish to specify positions other than one is obviously a front player.

"In January we should be really looking to solve one or two situations. We are desperately short of players. Front players.

"If Fernando (Torres) isn't playing one week, you have got to get someone in who has got the same level of quality."

In fairness, they are good players and would make our first team better. But as I'm sure you're alluding too, are they a big enough step up?

It's time we went and got players in who are going to be good enough for the first team for the next 5 years, not stop gaps who we later trade in.

I am utterly amazed at people still defend Hodgson in any way shape or form.

He is clearly trying to make people think he is closer to Kenny and uses him more than Rafa so as an association the fans will like him more because he likes Kenny, he really does you know.
So much so that he constantly has to talk about it all the time, he's like the virgin at school who always bragged about getting the most sex.

Rafa brought Kenny back into a role with Liverpool and in his latest book and newspaper columns Kenny has nothing but praise and respect for Rafa.

The Chelsea game will be his defining moment IMO.

Henry will be over to watch that one and will want to see how we get on against one of the teams we aspire to be challenging.

If we put in a inept performance are a soundly beaten I think he'll be gone.

I really try to be balanced, but every time he owns his deluded mouth makes me want to bitch slap it shut. He's just so classless it's untrue- his latest attempts to get the fans onside by lying about Kenny's relationship with Rafa are just so transparent it's almost laughable- and they are exactly in the same vein as all of the sun and bull**** we've had to put up with for so long with G&H and (arguably) Purslowe and the media campaign. That comment from Elephant Man about Bodgeson being the most foreign manager we've ever had is so depressingly true.

Now Bodgeson is mentioned about needing 6 players when he came in and started bleating about us being horrendously overstaffed. He and his supporters are so hypocritical it's truely sickening.

Interesting article in one paper suggested players are listening more now to Sammy Lee rather than Woy in a team meeting last week and there was a definite 'dig' at his assistant Mike Kelly incinuating playrs were happy that Kelly wasnt there and lots dont like him........
