What he says in the press is annoying, but not important.

It's the results that matter, followed after that by the performances. And I'm not even talking about wanting to be entertained. That can come next season. My only worry performance wise has been that we haven't really shown anything to me that would suggest we can go and put concistant win streaks together up until we get some much needed new players in.

I think a victory at Chelsea is unlikely, but we then have three winnable games. Not easy, but games such as Bolton away we should look to be winning. It is imperative that irrespective of Sundays result we then go and win the next three league games. If we do that we are back on track, regardless of performances.

Hodgson may be getting some luck, but with Reinas clanger v Arsenal and a failure to convert a multitude of chances v Blackpool I think he is due some.

And as I've said before, Torres is the difference. If Torres had been on form this season we'd likely be right in contention for 4th already, in spite of insepid performances.

To me that is the key. I also have seen very little that indicates that we are moving in the right direction. Yes we won 3 games but all performances were meh except first 60 minutes vs. Blackburn and even than we barely scrapped one goal lead. I hate how we play, we have no flow, everything seems disjointed and disorganized etc. it is very painful to watch and constant switching players from their natural positions is just making me dislike the old bag even more.

He is too old and set in his ways and will never understand what it takes to be a Liverpool Manager. His soundbites are shockingly embarassing and more akin to the Manager of a Championship club. He is a smalltime Manager with a smalltime mentality who just cannot comprehend the role he is in. Go now for Gods sake, just go!!!

Says he 'expects' Hodgson to still be here, but also says he doesnt know enough yet to make any assurances. Which is hopeful.

He says about not making managerial changes very often in Boston, but that might be because they have the right guy - they sacked the manager there within 8 days of taking over the club.

If Mr Henry is true to his word about listening to the fans - and granted, the fans views are usually so polarised, that you cant listen to them - but when over 90% are saying get rid, Mr Henry would be wise to listen to that.

Thing is everyone at the club will be telling him that Hodgson's da man. Hopefully Comolli will suss him pretty quickly. I read somewhere that the director of football comes in first then helps in selecting a manager that is compatible with his vision. I'm pretty sure a Comolli / Hodgson axis isnt a feasible long term solution.

Which manager could work 'under' Commolli? Deschamps was mentioned, did he work with Commolli or a DoF before. Has Pellegrini? Wouldn't mind either of them should Roy not work out.

I hope you are right. So far he has been very evasive on the issue of the current/future manager so I am not sold on the idea that Roy will be leaving any time soon..
