I see where you're coming from but to be honest danperkins doesn't help himself, instead of admitting that he's wrong he tries to pass things off as a joke or just plain u-turning so I imagine those in conversation with him could seem to be ganging up. That said I sometimes think that his "reputation" can precede him in conversations and it's used as a stick to beat him with.

I guess I'm just trying to say "can't we all just get along?!?!"
