Yep, saw it.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Roy Hodgson insists the signing of Damien Comolli is not a bad omen for him
Nov 7 2010 By Steve Bates, The People
Add a commentRecommend ROY HODGSON is happy with the arrival of transfer expert Damien Comolli – but said: “I had no say in his appointment.
“That would have defeated the object which is to put a team together they want, not for me to populate the club with friends.
“But we have a good man. Damien Comolli had great success at Tottenham and St Etienne so I’m delighted to welcome him here.”
Hodgson dismissed the idea new owner John Henry won’t allow him to buy older players, adding: “If, for example, Mark Schwarzer comes up on a free contract at 34 you don’t say it’s not a good deal because he is not 22, you discuss it.”
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I'm sure he could have chosen a better player to help get his point across than SchwarzerOriginally posted by Lecter View PostRoy Hodgson insists the signing of Damien Comolli is not a bad omen for him

Jesus, Roy, one step forward...
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

I would be happier with a more english type goalkeeper for our english type coach......I mean we had James, Kirkland and Carson, its a scandal we have had 3 of the greatest english keepers of the modern era and we end up with some spanish fella who cant even get into the spain team.Originally posted by Rich View PostGood business - sell Reina to Arsenal and bring in the more experienced Schwarzer.

Glad to see the back of him. Good business.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostOn the subject of Carson, shame he wasn't happy to stick around as second choice.
Bought for £1m, sold for £3.5m, plus we got ~£1m from Villa too IIRC.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Excellent work Rich! What else? I know, we could sell Mascherano to Barca and bring in the highly experienced Poulsen. What could possibly go wrongOriginally posted by Rich View PostGood business - sell Reina to Arsenal and bring in the more experienced Schwarzer.

Roy has earned a stay for me but the idea of him wheeling round the January shopping trolley is bloody terrifying. Almost laughably scary. I'd love to live in an alternative universe where he's buying for the mancs

Scotty Carson is absolutely ****e. He's a one man disaster zone and, apparently, thick as pig **** to boot. Getting 4 million for that clutz was fabulous business from Rafa.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostOn the subject of Carson, shame he wasn't happy to stick around as second choice.
Still, every night i say a little prayer for Pepe. God knows what disasters will befall us if he's ever injured and our hopes rest on Brad Jones.A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. When do you think he will be ready to get a game?Originally posted by Scratch View PostAnd? Kelly is an inexperienced right back, is he not? Absolutely no harm in Roy saying that, it's hardly an insult to the lad or likely to knock his confidence.
Some people will twist anything just to have a gripe.
How many oppurtunities will he get if we sign another right back?
I have seen enough of Kelly to suggest he can be our back up at right full, signing another experienced right full is not the way to go unless we are getting rid of Bob.
