Heard rumblings of that before. The English players being on the side of Roy and others like Torres and Reina being against him. Seems to be bull****, though cant say for sure. Again everything just seems to be up in the air! It's not healthy.

I am struggling to believe that stuff about Carra calling them pricks. Not because I don't believe the source, just because it seems like such an utterly stupid thing. Also, having always pictured Carra as this Liverpool legend, a straight up character it seems so weird that he would try and lengthen his own career at the risk of the rest of the club and against the will of the fans. I always thought Carra would be the kind of guy who would be the first to know he isn't up to it anymore...

But given that the Internet was designed specifically to peddle out gossip (both substantiated and other) does it not go against some sort of technology users code that you aren't even giving us enough to make wide sweeping guesses at? Go on Lector, give us a clue and see who gets the closest to the right answer. A wee game may even give us enough enjoyment to distract from last nights horror show.

And it's appalling that Roy has only taken 1 week to destroy a minor groundswell of goodwill towards him. What a joker

We are ****ing ****. After 2008/2009 when we finished 2nd things were looking great but it was a carbon copy of 2003 if not worse and we are now here.

No fight
No passion
No guts

For some reason after the 2008/2009 season this is exactly what we have had, under both Rafa and Roy

It's almost as if this group of players thought, 'Well that's as good as it gets, we'll never do it¡'

It's as if they just lost all belief after that so close season.

Time to take a massive decision and embark on a proper rebuilding programme.

Start by getting rid of Roy, bring in a new man with new ideas, English or foreign, I don't care where he's from.

Then let him rebuild the squad using Reina, Agger, Gerrard and Torres as a spine. Possibly retain some of the rest of the 1st team squad as back up to the actual 1st team but any reasonable offers for any of them we should except to aid with the rebuilding.

Get new players in who didn't get so close yet so far in 2008/2009 and who weren't around when all the **** with H&G was going on.

New manager, new ideas, new squad, new atmosphere, new morale.

So why did he sign a new deal the day before the takeover?

Carra don't care that much about the club any more. It's all about him and his career now. Carra first and Liverpool second. Maybe not the case a couple of years ago but it looks like it is that way now.

The sooner he leaves the sooner we can move on. The same goes for Gerrard. Both of them need to be sold.

Both of them clearly now thinks that they are bigger than the club.
