Not within the context of a club like LFC, no.

I think some of us are reading different books, never mind not reading from the same page.

Whilst I think MON woulld be an improvement on the Hodge, I really don't see him as being a long term improvement or the manager to take us to where we want to be. We need a manager who understands what Liverpool are about and the prestige of being LFC manager, not just something to pop on your CV. Houllier understood the club, Rafa understood the club our next manager needs to similarly understand what it means to manage Liverpool Football Club. It is a crucial appointment and I hope we are choosing from the best that are available.

I admit that is baffling, and annoying. I lump them all the same "Celeb Backslappers Club" unfortunately and Roy is a fond member of that club so they all rally around him, even though all the evidence suggests he's doing a terrible, terrible job.
