I get the impression Roy ‘didn’t decide to keep’ any of them, we just didn’t get suitable offers for them. He was maybe more willing to give them a chance, but I don’t think it would have took too much to prize any of them away from the club.

In fairness, if he gets us top 4, I think we would be right in saying that the 95% fans who called for his head would have been wrong to do so, especially those who called for a change mid season.
