        I don't see the logic of this at all. I'd rather Purslow was gone but other than that I can't see the point.

        Getting rid of the 'assassins' doesn't get rid of politics. Politics is about power and there is always scope for it.

                The players need to be put in their place. Not sure getting rid of Gerrard would help us but he needs to do what is right for the team.

                He was a joke last night, strutting around without a care for his position or midfield partner.

                    Why would Gerrard care about his position? He know that a manager can't bench him. You simply don't bench Gerrard, you simply don't. Gerrard play the way he want to play and the manager can do **** all about it.

                      I'm sick of reading about how this is Rafa's fault and the state poor form we showed under him in 2010

                      Yes we were poor under Rafa, but last year we had alot of injury problems and lost 4 out of 18 games.With a mostly fit squad in the same number of games Roy has lost twice as many games, conceded twice as many goals. And while performances under Rafa were poor, they are much much worse under Roy. Roy was supposed to get the team more organised and it clearly hasn't worked! He has to go, that form was enough to get Rafa the sack. Roy's is worse.
                      The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
