Is it not true that when a Redknapp or a Bruce or a Sanchez is saying "give him more time" they are actually saying "give ME more time"? Their pleas are a concerted, joint attempt to alter fans outlook regarding wanting rid of their under-achieving managers. They all know sooner or later they themselves may be in the same boat as Hodgson and may then need the patience they are now demanding from fans. It's all about self-preservation IMO.

Yeah.....great idea !!

Maybe we can have a kind of sin-bin, so all the clubs that end up in relegated places at the end of the season, by sticking with said managers, can be appraised and allowed to stay up etc etc etc

Just look at Villa fans they hated him and he was relatively succesful for them.

Spent **** loads and plays one dimensional footy that would get very exposed in the CL. I think he would do we pretty well in the league though...........

My father inlaw knows a journalist who does ALL of our press conferences

He (the journalist) says Roy is "not a very nice person at all, hes arrogant, vain and quite frankly a ****ing ****"

first choice is reluctant to leave his post mid season so someone from inside (read probably kenny) will run the club until summer.

in the summer nesv will appoint their first choice guy who has both epl, and cl management experience.

I don't understand what they're trying to do. That's true for all jobs but even so it's not unusual in higher echelons for it to be dispensed with and mangers paid off and released quickly - just as in football.

True.......................but I've always maintained that MON is little more than a "tracksuited cheerleader" for those very reasons.
I would never be convinced that he would be the man to bring us to the next level..................next level of mediocrity maybe. Say a nice 7th-8th every year !!
