Not really mate my point was that there was a difference. Pluggin holes with average/sub standard players that ends up to be decent signings is not a new thing. John O Shea is great example of that.

So just to conclude, all LDP is saying is that Kyrgiakos is a ****ebag, a decent signing and a **** player, though a decent buy, while at the same time being not a good signing.

I dont know where the confusion is.

I will stick my neck out here and say I honestly don't understand what the big deal is about dan perkins opinion towards Soto?

Soto is far from a good player but he is a decent signing, what is the problem with that? seriously? Maxi was a good player that have turned out to be an awfull signing thus far - same logic, what would be the problem with that.

There are plenty of examples of good players turning out to be poor signings (Kewell springs to mind) and poor players doing a decent job (Traore springs to mind).

Is dan perkins just getting stick because people disagreed with him over Rafa needing to go?, which I and a lot of others agree with. At the end of last season on here it was about 50/50 in the poll if he should stay or not, so plenty of discussion on the topic for sure.

Or is this just an example of the group mentality, where apparently someone has to get picked at and now that Fredo is gone someone else have to become a favorite target?

Seriously I don't understand what the problem is by saying he is a poor player but have turned out to be a decent signing? can anyone explain that?

I certainly think there is an element of that (although no doubt those involved will deny it).

In fact I think it's time to give all this "LDP" stuff a rest now - we've all had a bit of banter about it, but if people have a problem with danperkins then it would be a better idea just to put him on ignore.

I'd say that's fair comment. The ignore feature is pointless though, it just doesn't work.

                        Did someone say something?

                        Bdum tsch!

Agree it's not great, but then I'm sure people don't really need a forum feature to actually be able to ignore someone, do they?

Has been an awesome this season, though I thought he was going to kill someone when celebrating the goal yesterday.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
