Craig, once you (and others) take their specs off you'll see like red n white and the other silent lurking majority that you don't have much. Grabiner would eat you for pre-breakfast if that's all you have. Honestly.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostNothing too contentious about indirectly calling his own players ****? And nothing contentious about besmirching the club's name so much, as to suggest that winning at Woodison is utopia? We ****ing went and won in the Bernebeu, at the Nou Camp, San Siro....****ing hell, what a dire attitude he has.
As for 'he's learnt from that' - ****ing hell, should any manager need to 'learn' not to slag off his own club's supporters? Christ...One tit for another.

FLMAO, are you his great grandson or something?Originally posted by BigChief View PostHas anyone else got any better 'evidence'? Apart from the 'having a go at the supporters' bit I don't see anything too contentious there. Even the supporters bit I would add: 1) he's learnt from that, 2) some of the 'supporters' (see this forum) need their own egos kicked.
Perhaps ask yourself why so many polls conducted across a multitude of LFC forums indicate that 90% of fans want Roy gone?
Maybe, most fans feel "insulted" by his nonsense? If not, then they are certainly "insulted" by his complete lack of tactical ability.

What a load of ****e. Dont have much, indeed.
I dont take kindly to a Liverpool manager slagging off his players and the club's fans. If you think it's ok, that's upto you.

You can't speak for the lurkers so let's leave them out of it. But it seems clear to me that the majority on here feel the same way as Craig about Hodgson. Fair or not, it's been pretty obvious on here the level of dislike towards him. And it's not just this forum either, the poll results from nearly every forum were in the 90% region in favour of getting rid of him. Fair or not, it is what it is.Originally posted by BigChief View PostCraig, once you (and others) take their specs off you'll see like red n white and the other silent lurking majority that you don't have much. Obviously he made mistakes in his last season. In every season.Originally posted by Shanks View PostSo he either left a **** squad or he made some **** decisions in his final season..
Something has to give and I don't want to turn this into another Rafa bash thread..

But the idea that Hodgson doesnt need to match or improve on Rafa's last season, is nonsense. As is the notion that the failure of Hodgson's Liverpool is down to Rafa.

The player and the referees need to be punished. All three of them. The ref and the assistant that stood just a few yards away and did nothing.Originally posted by Operation View PostCertainly hope so. We've seen tackles like that cause breaks, and we've seen promising young players on the verge of properly making it have their careers badly compromised by bad injuries at that age.
That one really needs to be dealt with.
I'm tired of referees that get away with it. Show the assistant ref the tackle and ask him why he didn't do anything? Then suspend him three four games.
Players gets injured because of **** referees. The assistant ref would learn that he must act next time if he get punished and by that way the players get the protection they need from all the referees.
If he don't get punished then he will just don't give a **** next time either and that may mean that a player get injured.Stop the cyberhate

from now on I will skip talking about our finances. That is a promise and will save myself from looking like a

Hodgson's been stupid. Check. Hodgson's been naive. Check. Hodson's been ill prepared for the leap up to top level. Check.Originally posted by fah-q View PostFLMAO, are you his great grandson or something?

But he hasn't hurt my precious little feelings by telling our players they're sh*t. We conduct polls on this all the time. I don't want him to stay as a manager if better are available. But I certainly won't be disrespectful for these reasons alone. I wasn't brought up that way.One tit for another.

It's not like LFC fans to want someone out so soon, just due to results.Originally posted by Reece View PostYou can't speak for the lurkers so let's leave them out of it. If Hodgson had been respectful, humble and likeable, the figure would've been nearer 50/50 IMO, with about half wanting rid and the other half saying it's too early and he deserves more time.
The fact that it's over 90% is largely down to the ****e he's been trying to feed us and the disrespectful type of comments he's made.

I grant you that Hodgson is not a media man and definitively lacks the sophistication of Rafa in that department.
But do the media really matter ?
Call me old fashioned, but I still happen to believe that they are a pain in the arse and totally irrelevant. This is not a cheap casting show we are talking about, but a game most of the media people don't understand in the first place.
All I am interested in is to see my team playing well and if Roy proves he can facilitate this, that'll do for me. All I want to ask for is to give him some time.
However, I somehow don't think we'll manage to agree on that, just felt that a discenting oppinion should be raised every now an then.Last edited by red n white; 05-11-10, 12:46 AM.
