In the corresponding fixture, Blackpool walloped them 0-4. We really should be aiming to do the same. Wigan are officially pants. (Kiss of death/mozz/mockers).

We had a better team last year and we still lost so that may not mean much.

Yes and then they went to White Hart Lane and won over Spurs.

Fair dos to them, that certainly was a shock result. At home they've been awful. Scored 4 and conceded 14!

Lets hope their rich vein of form continues for at least one more game

Crazy that we could be only two points off fourth by Wednesday night.

I don't think we have the best of records against Wigan though

Hopefully their home record will be worse after our game.

Can Wolves, Sunderland, and scum do us a big favour over the next two nights?

Just realised we are the lowest scorers away from home in the PL. 3 goals FFS

We are not any better in terms of goals scored overall.

We are 13th (we average little more than 1 goal a game) and interestingly enough worst team in PL is Wigan (only 8 goals thus far).

I expect to see GJ and if Aurelio would start that would be a great boost.

Despite the obvious worries about Konchesky I think we should ease Aurelio back into action.

I can't image Babel seeming like a good option other than from the bench.

Wigan is without three players who usually play, Gohouri, Boyce and McCarthy. They have only managed one point in their last three matches against Bolton, Fulham and Blackburn. Ref is Peter Walton.
