Thought he would be a worldie when he joined. What a shame injuries stopped it happening.

Do you think? Maybe you are right. But I always got the impression that he wouldn't be a player that played on until his mid to late 30s, and injuries have hardly helped that. I think he's gonna be 30 this year, so he'll be approaching 31 come start of next season. I can't see him leaving Brondby again - he'd lose the affection their fans (and ours actually) have for him. After all, Carra was a far, far more robust player and retired at 34. Imo he'll play 2 seasons there (3 at a push) and then retire.

        Some might say the pinnacle.

And that's meant as a compliment. Did he ever get to play against Owen?

I still think its a mistake selling him. Surely he's a better 3/4th choice center back than Toure?

Brøndby is the biggest talent factory in Denmark over the past 25 years, so in that sense we can perhaps make it up by securing some good talent. They are at least always well represented in the U-national teams and quite a few of their talents are already at top clubs in Europe right now, so it might be good for both.

That said I would hate to see Agger leave us for them Both because I'm not a huge fan of the club overall, and secondly because it's a waste of his talent playing at that level.

what a decent chap, a true gent and loved his time here. such a shame that his injury record has limited his playing time for us.
                    all the best Dan.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

My fave player since Torres. Will miss him badly but I'm sure he'll be back in some capacity for the club.

Sad to see him go, I still think he could do a job for us. I still cant help but think there is something odd about this move, last season and earlier in the summer he was being linked with Barcelona, now he's moved to Brondby.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Wish him every success back home & hope he gets Brondby into next years CL & we get them in our draw
