90k a week. I find it pretty weird how other massive earners - far younger than him - have been ditched while he remains. I'm not having a go at him but he's not good enough for us anymore, is a squad player at best and he earns crazy money. It's not right.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

If we can get the same attendance as we would with a new stadium for under half the cost isn't that worthwhile for now?

FSG have shown they'll invest in the Red Sox, why wouldn't they with us?
They invest a lot because the Red Sox generate a lot; they don't have to sell (trade) Peter to get Paul. Obviously there isn't an unlimited amount of money, and the focus is more on managing the wage bill (payroll) bearing in mind if it goes beyond a certain point financial penalties are incurred, and they are behind the Yankees, but compared to the rest of the league (MLB) they are minted, although some teams have gained ground/will gain ground due to TV deals.

          Paul Jones?

Edit: Just remembered we loaned some **** keeper as well, in ~2007 Padelli I think his name was. He played in the last game of the season and was laughably bad.

Exactly tell Cole he takes a paycut or go rot in the reserves, I agree with Mostar Reina, Skrtel, Agger , Lucas and Suarez all need to be signed up to long term contracts as they are the future and give us a great base to build on.

It's laughable really, given a performance like the one vs Gomel where he was out on his feet after 20 minutes and kept doubling over, pretending to adjust his boots in order to get some more air into his lungs.

Sorry I can't be arsed reading the last 20 or so pages of this thread but are we looking to sell Agger really? This would really piss me off if true.
                  Are we winning?

You don't think we generate a lot? We have a far bigger market and presence than the Red Sox do.

We're letting alot of players leave, we've only signed one player so far and most of the players we're being linked with aren't exactly inspiring.

Bellamy, Maxi, Kuyt (possibly Agger) gone and yet Adam, Cole, Carragher and Spearing are still here. Bloody hell this could end up being a worse team than anything we saw in the 90's

                          Relegation wasn't being negative.

Comparison between us the and Red Sox is pointless - the comparison should be between us and the other football clubs were are competing against for players/trophies. And it's not just the revenue of those clubs we are up against.

We have been on the backfoot as a football club since the early 90's when Freddie boswell got his grubby little hands on our club. Ever since then it has been one bad decision after another. It seems rooted into the LFC DNA to make one **** up after another.
