Agger is my favorite Liverpool player. I would be gutted if we sold him. My other favorite (Alonso) was sold and never replaced, so I think this is a bad idea, but he is often injured and if we need to sell to buy, he could bring in a chunk of change to overhaul the attacking areas. I hope we do not sell, as he is PERFECT for this system.

I wouldn't Begrudge any player going to Barcelona, WOuld still be gutting though and 25m + a couple of loan players would ease the pain.

If we really want to be playing a new style of passing football then Agger is the only CB we've got who would be perfect for it and that is strengthened by the fact that Barca want him

Really hope this ends up being bull**** but there's too many rumours for this not to be a realistic possibility now

When Rodgers came in he talked about re-building a squad for the future and that we may not see results while he was still manager but it's going to be a long hard slog if we start selling all of our best players. We need players who are going to excite the fans and keep us interested during this transitional period.
