Agger should be in the starting line up, but that is also a very disrespectful comment about his team mates. He should keep his mouth shut.

Np, not at all, under no circumstances should players be going and having a whine to the press with their demands or in areas where it will clearly get quoted in the press.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI guess you can understand that,

But you have been injured, darling, and will be again. Perhaps that's another reason that you're only being eased back in to the side and that the manager is not relying on you too muchOriginally posted by Bender View Post‘If I’m not playing in the Liverpool team on a regular basis, then I am ready to move on,’ he said. ‘I have only just returned from three months out injured, so I am in no position, at the moment, to say I must be in the side for every game.

Agger can do one as far as I am concerned (if he actually said what is being reported).
We have stuck by him for the last 3 years when he has hardly played and he should show some respect, knuckle down, stay fit and win his place in the team. He owes us."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

As much as we can all appreciate the benefits of having a ball-playing CB in the side, especially one so bereft of creativity such as the current team, some players would want to catch themselves on before issuing ultimatums.
Personally I would have a fit Agger occupying one of the CB positions, although I do think some people over-estimate his defensive skills somewhat, as their is undoubted talent there. But this is not the first time discussions like this have popped up usually in concert with a transfer window, so misquoted or not, its hard to shake the feeling that there is always some message being put across from the Agger camp.
Get your head down, take your opportunity when it comes, look after your fitness and move on from there with new manager (hopefully!)."I will make the boys feel your support"

It's not that normal for a player coming back from injury to be an automatic starter. Roy is a dick but I would thInk he's listening to the doctor more than Agger.Originally posted by vlahka View PostHis problem is he's fit and he's been on the bench most of the time. TBF on Agger, he does say that at the moment he can't complain but he wants to start more when he is fit. I have to agree with him, Roy has treated him unfairly so I can understand Agger for being a bit annoyed at him.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt's not that normal for a player coming back from injury to be an automatic starter.
