If (note the "If") the reported comments of Agger's agent are accurate, it would seem strange that the Agger camp are in the dark as to why Agger isn't playing, given that Brendan has made a big deal about communication and his "open door" policy.Originally posted by rcasemore View Posthow do we know he's up for sale? Don't see people really jumping to any conclusions at all really.. The word IF makes it all hypothetical and I agree.. IF Rodgers himself wanted Agger out I wouldn't be comfortable with someone managing our team with that kind of decision making.
If Downing scored 3 goals a game in every game from now til 2016 he'd be our greatest ever player

I've commented on this in the twitter thread and used the word "IF". Like anything coming out of LFC the word "IF" needs to be used alot.
IF Rodgers is thinking of selling agger and he does then IMO thats strike one and i will not feel confident at all in our manager if he is getting rid of one of the best defenders in the league.
Everything Rodgers has said has filled me with confidence so far but actions speak louder than words. Infact i would be livid if we sold both Bellamy and Agger

That's only if a transfer is one-sided. Which it isn't.Originally posted by Tee View PostIf Agger is sold it is down to BR, simple as that. He said he would never have taken this job without full control (or final say) on any transfers. It would be an alarming move if we were to sell Agger.
If Agger goes, it could be Agger himself wants out.
If Agger goes, it could be FSG needing cash flow.
If Agger goes, it could be Rodgers looking at alternatives.
If Agger goes, it could be a mixture of all of the above.
So it's not 'simple as that'.
But all-in-all, it could just be agent chat during a critical point in negotiating Agger's contract renewal.

But BR has the final say. Yes or no. If he wants Agger to stay he will stay, and we know he is happy to.Originally posted by Muddled View PostThat's only if a transfer is one-sided. Which it isn't.
