Rediculous to sell a top player at his prime! He's only 27 & will offer us his best playing years if he stays - I also think he's over most of his injury probs he's had with us. Surely to be successful u keep ur best players - do these owners really want champs lg ?

Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

The owners had a taste of the Europa League, and they liked it.

Yep, would be massive lift going into that first game of the season.

Are they that reliable? I remember them tweeting some absolute nonsense about Hodge Podge's replacement when he was still manager

I'd take what they say with a pinch of salt

According to Tony Barrett and The Times Agger wants to stay but he said nothing about the new contract.

Yeah, they're defo massively hit and miss, pretty good on team news and injury stuff, less so on transfers/contracts etc.

If the rumours of Ayre being the one trying to push this deal then he should be ****ed off at the first opportunity. Selling one of our best players while sanctioning the **** signed last summer which are still at the club on mega money.

Either have him only do for what he is qualified for as a commercial/marketing Director or let him go.

He is as good in his current role as it was Purslow.
