I have a feeling that you could both be correct.

It's also possible that Rodgers has spoken to Agger, told him that the owners are putting pressure on him to sell, but that he doesn't want to lose him, dig in deep and he'll be an integral part of our plans next season.

I'll be absolutely distraught if he goes, but if he goes I'd hope we'd look at Bruno Alves. He wouldn't be overly expensive. He is a bit on the old side, but he's top class.

All academic though, on principal we shouldn't be selling regardless of the offer. I really hope we can hold on, so important for us.

The idea that the owners are pressuring Rodgers to sell Agger is extremely hard for me to believe. If Agger goes it will be because Rodgers is OK with it.

would be great if we could offload the weaker players to build funds rather than sell Agger, time will tell but it will be poxy if Agger if sold
