Selling Agger - along with simultaneously losing Carragher, Reina, and more than likely Suarez - would be a disaster.
    It's insulting.

can/could carragher make a comeback if we had injuries and no cover or is he no longer registered to play ?

well imo don't think Agger would leave

The registration window hasn't passed yet Bender.

We wont sell Agger unless we have a decent back-up lined up.

Guillem Balague and Graham Hunter both had Agger as Barcelona's fifth choice on a list of centre-backs alongside Kompany, Hummels, Inigo Martinez and Marquinhos.

I find it strange they'd go for Agger when Martinez would be an ideal fit and a long term solution to Carles Puyol.

Really depressing. It all looked so great at the start of the window when we were making subtle signings, linked with so many players. Now we are being picked apart and struggling to get players in.

Fair play Michael Owen on BT - "I still think the [Liverpool] badge is a pull";"I like Liverpool [for 4th]"

                    Never thought I'd say that.

Tony Barrett on The Times - Sources at the Barcelona insist that an offer of £17 million has been lodged for Daniel Agger

Dom King's news on Skrtel is worrying too - told he can go last week, now told we're not able to let him go. Either Agger's going to Barca or we've decided once and for all that Papadopoulos is a non-starter. Bit of a worry.

                            It's going up £1m a minute

Really hope we don't sell him. Do we need the cash, really?

Jim White from the telegraph actually said a £15m bid had been made by Barca for Agger.

Could just be someone making an educated guess given the Agger story.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
