Most definitely not a vole ****house. He is fully deserving of the vice captaincy (assuming he doesn't make me look like a **** and leaves).

I agree but to be honest you don't need Agger's help at all.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Barcelona have made Daniel Agger bid, says Dane’s agent

Liverpool’s hopes of keeping Daniel Agger have suffered a setback after the defender’s agent, Per Steffensen, confirmed that Barcelona have attempted to sign the defender.
Barcelona had a €17 million (about £15 million) bid for Agger, 28, rejected by Liverpool last week before the Anfield club attempted to secure his future by appointing him vice-captain.
That move has not prompted Barcelona to end their interest in the Denmark captain, however, and with an improved offer likely, Liverpool are now facing a battle to hold on to their second longest serving player.
Though Agger would not agitate for a transfer, he recognises that a chance to move to the Spanish champions may not occur again and Steffensen has indicated that his client’s future is likely to rest on whether or not Barcelona are able to agree a fee with Liverpool.
“It would be up to the clubs to agree a fee for his transfer in order for that to change,” Steffenson said.
Whereas Liverpool refuse to consider selling Luis Suárez to Arsenal because they are Barclays Premier League rivals, it could prove more difficult to deny Agger a move to Barcelona.
Kolo Touré remains Liverpool’s only defensive signing this summer, although Rodgers is hoping to conclude a £5 million deal for Guilherme Siqueira, of Granada, in the coming days.
With doubts now surrounding Agger, Liverpool’s pre-season preparations continue to be beset with difficulties. Suárez’s discontent continues to cause a distraction and Raheem Sterling sat out the 1-0 defeat by Celtic on Saturday after being charged with common assault.
Suárez is unavailable for Liverpool’s first Premier League game of the season, against Stoke City, and that has prompted Rodgers to organise a friendly behind closed doors to give Daniel Sturridge a chance to prove his fitness.
Sturridge’s appearance against Celtic was his first since suffering an ankle ligament injury in England’s friendly against Ireland in May, and Rodgers has implored the forward to take full advantage of his status as Liverpool’s senior forward in Suárez’s absence.
“I think he is aware of the opportunity in front of him,” the Liverpool manager said. “There were maybe teething problems when he came in January, but once he got his head around that and the demands of playing at a big club regularly, then he was terrific.
“He was in really good form at the end of last season, which got him called up for England and it was unfortunate that he got a bad injury, but I can have no complaints at how he has worked. He is actually ahead of schedule coming back and I am sure that this season he can demonstrate that is a top striker.
“He has wanted to be in this position — leading the attack for a big club with everything that brings — and it is just now about making himself available as much as he can.”
Liverpool have endured a largely frustrating summer in the transfer market thus far, but Rodgers remains hopeful of strengthening the team before the window closes.
“There is an awful lot of work going on behind the scenes and it is not easy, as we have seen from other clubs’ experiences as well, but I am confident that we will add to the team,” Rodgers said. “I don’t think there is any doubt we need that.”

Dane, why is your agent briefing the press? In fact, why do you even have an agent?.
