That would send a clear message to both about keeping up form instead of just having settled in a starting position.
I'd like to see Suso played centrally & Pacheco out wide. Maybe as you say after 60 odd minutes move Suso from out wide to inside & bring Dani on out wide.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Pacheco should be given a chance.
      Are we winning?

        Why?

None of our last 4 managers appear to have rated him.
        Oh I don't know.

Not really sure that's true. As I mentioned in Suso thread, I'd like to see Johnson playing behind him, offering options on the overlap. Suso naturally likes to come inside and there isn't much attacking threrat coming from Wisdom or Kelly, so it can be a bit predictable at times.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He was still too young under Rafa.

            Hodgson was an idiot.

Kenny didn't even pick Kuyt or Maxi.

He seems tailor made for BR's system, plus he seems to have matured a lot and works his balls off.

I think he has vaid excuses under our previous managers, but I'm a bit concerned why it didn't work out in Spain.

If he was good enough, he'd be a regular starter in this team. How old is he now?

Maybe he's not good enough to be a starter, but would he be any worse than Downing or Cole coming off the bench, and with a bit more first team experience might he not improve further?

                  21 I think.

Also, Hodgson's or Kenny's formations had no place for him, he'd be well suited to one of the wing positions for BR.

I agree that it'd be good if Pacheco got some more gametime so we could finally get an idea of his standard. He's better than reserve standard but, whether he can make the step-up, remains to be seen. If we really want to nurture youth, he's almost too old for the ressies so we need to blood him or get rid - for his sake as much as ours.

Having said that, I don't know where he'd fit in. More often than not he's made first team appearances out wide, and I think he's even less suited to that than Suso. So I think his best position would be behind the main forward or - if we're playing two DMs - at the apex of the midfield. But do we think he's more suited to that than Shelvey and Suso?

I think Rafa rated him. Played him a couple of times in 2009 and he done well from what I seem to remember.

Aye, was gonna add a few more points but I didn’t really see much point in elaborating as personally I don’t see why a player should be overlooked just because another manager didn’t rate him, although obviously I concede it a concern.

Still cannot understand that, especially his treatment of Maxi. Oh well.....
