Well we qualified, but really expected the younger players and fringe players as well to go out there and make a statement about their ambition to be in contention for first team places and to really make the most of the opportunity.

But ofcourse it was complete ****e.

          Hello,

I didn't watch the game tonight so I can't really comment on the match, I've read the match performance review though and it's not great really.

I personally don't blame Reina for the mishap as he has been impeccable for us over the years bar a few hiccups from time to time but I blame the mistake on the manager and his staff, not Pepe.

These guys have been so highly tuned to play top quality football and that has now gone. They are pro's and the way they are being trained now is making them turn out with a severe lack of confidence every time they go out on the field hence why the mistakes are happening.

I don't really know what to think anymore. ****ing hell I'd even forgotten that we were playing tonight until about half an hour after the game had started. I know it has been said countless times already but I am falling out of love with the club that I love so much.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

            You're right.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

And we have been outscored in the group by ****ing Steau.
Well, am not defending him. But, take him out of the equation, it's not a bad nights work

I know, I am just bitter about the way our club is going.

Topping the group like this will have given some great winning experience in Europe to all the lads who've played so far, and will stand us in good stead for hopefully much bigger games to come in future years.

It doesn't all have to be doom and gloom you know. Even a stopped watch is right twice a day, you're allowed to take pleasure in the club you support even if you totally disagree with the manager...

Positives: Good experience for some young players in Europe.

Negatives are getting tedious, so I'm just trying to look at the positives.

That was as bad a 90 minutres as I have seen this season against a piss poor romanian team.

You simply cannot blame the players for the formation. Barcelone would be **** if Woy was there manager. Last night gave new meaning to the word deep. Its been piss piss poor when we let teams have the ball in their own half and wait and wait last night we defended another 20 yards inside our own half before we thought to press.

Was it because Carra wasnt playing to push us out???

Anyway, I hope Carra was sat at home watching the dog**** performanace maybe now hell know how 99% of us feel.

And Rowan, **** me, good for you to know training is having some effect, ****ing hell Anfield will have about 5000 in it in 12 months if training carries on having the 'effect' and players get more 'comfortable' with what were trying to do.

Why doesnt one of our 'esteemed' ex-players who were so quick to jump on Rafa's back come out and tell the truth instead of glossing over the obvious clear ****.

Whelan, Lawrenson, St John, Hansen and your mates, legends yes, bollocks, no.

It might have been **** to watch at times, but in pure points terms we really couldn't have qualified much better than that. We were only a Pepe howler away from nicking the game tonight too. Not that we'd have deserved it.
There is no way we can be proud of how we've got through, it's been dire football and quite frankly backs against the wall for most of it

Lauding it as a success and something to be proud of is deeply concerning as well.

I know what you mean and the run out is certainly important to the youngsers, do I think the way we play and the mentality of hanging on to a narrow lead each and every game will help them though, no - it leads to hot potato football rather than helping develop a calm head.

Pleased we've gone through though, who knows things may get better I very much doubt it though!

I could not believe how **** Joe Cole was he really needs to up his game , and Pacheco on the right of midfield , this is similar to Meirles it does not work would have liked to have seen Pacheco playing where Cole played , as for Babel please do one just not good enough.

Positives were thought Kelly was solid and Jovanic performed well and took his goal well.

Maybe instead of Ngog start with him behind Torres on Monday

Seriously Roy needs to **** off with his ultra negative tactics and sitting back and allowing them to control possession

NESV please stop this misery !!!
