I'd imagine (or is it hope) that they are simply prepared to wait and learn until the right man becomes available. Sacking Hodgson mid-season, although something the vast majority of fans want, would not be particularly productive if there isn't a top quality manager with the right ethos ready to replace him.

Understandable after anither defeat though, and from the turd being served up to us as Liverpool fans, who after all, are the lifeblood of the club. Liverpool fans have never been apathetic about the club and their porspects before and this is seriously starting to infect the support.

Getting pissed off is such a drain that it has almost become pointless. The last 2 years makes you wonder why you bother, but then you cast your mind to season ending 2005, 2006, 2007 and the nearly season ending 2009. Shame

Yes.

However, I could do a better job than Roy, and I don't even play footy computer games. But I could.

I make vain attempts to understand their lack of knee-jerk reaction to Roy's obvious inadequacies - but whatever I think is ultimately of no consequence.

Kenny is probably not the man to take us to number 19, but I'd stake my life on an impossible bet that he'd get better 'stats' than Roy (if that's what our new owners are after - I am too) for the rest of the season. If they can afford to ignore the ££££ available for top four teams in their steady hunt for eventual success, power to them.

Still, I'm resigned to us winning nowt for a while. Weird feeling.
